POSITION SUMMARY
JOB SUMMARY: The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of individuals assigned to this job.
Responsible for the development and administration of clinical staff development programs with the primary goal of improving the quality of patient care by increasing the competence of all personnel involved in the delivery of patient services.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing. AZ RN License and BSN Required. Masters degree, and/or actively pursing Masters in related health care field required - evidence of continuing education directly related to Nursing/Hospital Clinical Education required.
Requires three to five years of current clinical experience; must be knowledgeable of nursing process, adult learning principles, and curriculum development; evidence of continuing education; possess service orientation qualities that compliment the organization’s philosophy in guest relations.
ACLS/BCLS certificate on hire and PALS certificate within six months of hire.
Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
Additional languages preferred
Basic computer knowledge+
