Position Summary:

Responsible for the evaluation and administration of treatment of patients in accordance with physician referral, state and national organizational standards, regulatory agencies, and established departmental policies and procedures in both acute care and outpatient settings as well as provide supervision for ancillary staff including PTA, therapy technician and/or student.

Minimum Education: Master Degree; Graduate of approved school of Physical Therapy

Minimum Experience: New graduates accepted

Required License/certification: Current AZ license, See Steward License/Certification grid for current certification requirements.

Required SKILL SET:

Knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology; Ability to provide treatment for variety of medical conditions in both acute care and outpatient setting; Basic computer skills; Ability to adapt to change and manage time efficiently. Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties. Ability to speak and write English language fluently.

PREFERRED REQUIRMENTS: 3+ years of experience; Previous acute care experience
