Manager Medical Staff
Primary responsibility is to lead and manage activities of the Medical Staff Services Office to ensure that needs of medical staff members, administration, ancillary departments, and other customers are met.
Provides Medical Staff Services support for Tempe St. Luke's Hospital and for St. Luke's Behavioral Health Center.
Job performance is compliant with all facility standards, policies, and procedures and to manage and monitor medical staff functions as they relate to applicable accreditation and government agency standards and requirements.
Has ability to adapt to change and handle stressful situations.
The Medical Staff Manager is responsible to organize assigned workload to maintain a high level of quality, confidentiality, accuracy, consistency, independent judgment, and effective time management.
- High School Graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in Medical Staff Services preferred.
- NAMSS CPMSM certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills, i.e., keyboarding, Internet, etc.
